About Jasmin.

writer. social worker

& deep feeling human.

I write words and make spaces for creative, empathetic and multi-passionate people - so we can feel less alone in this human experience, and connect with our creativity, wholeness, and joy!

As a solar-powered person, I definitely do my best living and working on sunny days. ☀️

I’m many things - writer & creative, social worker, neurodivergent human, copywriter, cat parent, book lover…

And, I believe strongly in every person’s right to have embodied spaces where we can explore what makes life meaningful for us; spaces where we can connect with the wisdom and resources we already hold within our bodies, hearts and minds.

I’m here to help you move toward the life you long to live and to bring more ease, self-trust and embodied delight into your every day.

my philosophy.

  • I appreciate that trust is not assumed, it’s built over time.

  • I don’t assume that I’m holding safe space, because what feels safe for me may not feel safe for you. Instead, I make sure that my spaces are resourced and open-minded enough for you to show up and access your own safety.

  • I hold space and offer support as someone in this with you, not above you.

  • I’m not here to tell you how to live your human experience, or to prescribe one way of being. I hold intentional space, as you decide what is right for you.

  • Everything is invitational, so if something doesn’t work for you please move to something else that does bring you into connection (rather than out of connection)

  • Together, we co-create the container of holding space for exploration, expansion and clarity.

what lights me up.

  • Real and human conversations and connections

  • The way that tuning into our body cues and making the most subtle adjustments can make the most profound changes

  • Creative people making their art and changing this world for the better

  • Spending time outside in nature

  • Seeing folks build foundations of safety within themselves, and witnessing the wholeness and aliveness that they discover!

some background human stuff.

Discovering ways of living, loving, creating, and working that support our bodies, minds and hearts to flourish.

As someone who is multi-passionate, neurodivergent, sensitive, creative, and a survivor of childhood trauma, I am on a lifelong journey to unlearn and relearn my needs, boundaries, desires and truths…and ultimately what being human means to me.

Along the way I have followed paths well worn in our societal narratives, only to unwind these threads when I realised they were not right for me.

I know the isolation, confusion, exhilaration, courage AND growth in choosing a new path.

And, I’ve experienced the lasting impact that nature, embodied conversations, journalling and creativity have had - in helping me to move from a state of internal disconnection to a place of inner belonging and reconnection to self and self trust.

Which is why I’m passionate about making spaces for you to be supported as you focus on your relationship with yourself and others, and find new layers of self trust, self expression and belonging.

I believe there is so much more to befriending our minds, hearts and bodies than can be captured within a single framework or therapeutic technique, and we need to do better at holistically holding space for trauma and diverse experiences.

This inner knowing has inspired me to bring together my background in clinical social work and mental health, with my lived experience, the natural ways I interact in the world, and embodied approaches that are informed by neuroscience, somatic knowledge and trauma-informed care; while always being led by the person in front of me.

Through 1:1 sessions and a variety of online resources and supports, I hope to create spaces where you can explore your human experience - your way.

These spaces will weave together evidence-based best practice with intuitive, embodied and personalised approaches to flourishing.

1:1 sessions are inclusive, diversity-friendly, and trauma-informed and I often work from a body-based and bottom-up approach - working with the body (its sensations, movements and messages) and the felt sense of the world around us.

You’re meeting me as I return to the work of holding space after some time away in reflection

After more than 10 years working as a trauma-informed and clinical social worker within community organisations, the private sector and private practice, I had reached a point of career identity confusion.

I no longer felt aligned with many of the systems I was working within…

I was seeing the limitations of our mainstream medical model… and the dissonance within a profession that encouraged the disrupting of systems, and yet was afraid to speak too loudly…

And… I was exhausted from trying to segment the parts of myself that saw these limitations with the parts who yearned deeply to hold space for individual and collective healing.

By making room to digest and integrate all of these emotions, sensations and insights, I have re-centred, and have a direction forward that lights me up to my core - to make spaces where we can grow our individual and collective sense of wholeness, connectedness and belonging, as creative and empathetic humans. And, to do so in the ways that work for us.

Through a personalised blend of nature-based counselling and coaching, I support creative and empathetic humans who want to move beyond thinking and talking, and into learning the language of their emotions, sensations and aliveness.
